The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is located in northern Zealand with a panoramic view across the Øresund. Louisiana is a beautiful spot and is definately worth the visit out of Copenhagen. In extension of the Museum you will find the beautiful garden and a nice small beach. Louisiana offers a range of activities for children and adults to explore together in The Children’s Wing.

The Children’s Wing is a three-storey building and is the ideal place to find imaginative ways of introducing children and young people to modern art and encouraging them to think about materials, meanings and ideas.
Families can explore artworks from the permanent collection and special exhibitions, and then they can create their own art in a hands-on workshop. The workshops include various kinds of materials and techniques, but it is always possible to create a painting or build a clay sculpture.
The museum houses a shop and a café. You are not allowed to bring a stroller but you can borrow one if necessary.

Opening hours: Thuesday - Friday: 11:00 - 22:00, Saturday - Sunday: 11:00 - 18:00, Sunday: Closed
