Getting around in Copenhagen with babies and toddlers

Copenhagen is a small city, very easy to get around and is often seen best on foot. If where you want to go is too far to walk, public transport in Copenhagen is excellent, even when you are travelling with a pram ! The national rail and the new metro with driverless trains offer direct service from the airport to the city center in less than 30 minutes. In fact the public transport system can take you every were you need to go. A joint zone fare system includes Copenhagen Transport buses; State Railway, Metro, and S-tog trains in Copenhagen and North Zealand; with the same ticket. Copenhagen also offers some fun options to get you from A to B, such as boats and bicycle taxis. But if you want to get around a little faster, do as the Copenhageners and hop on a bike ! Bicycling in Copenhagen is very easy : Copenhagen has no hills and most streets have clearly marked bicycle paths, which also makes it very safe.
