Children and adults who visit Copenhagen must explore the world famous amusement parc Tivoli ! Though expensive, it’s definetly worth it ! You will find endless and various activities both for kids & grown ups.
The National Gallery of Denmark offers a fantastic children's Museum. Here you can participate in various workshops and activities and every weekend at 13 o' clock the children can participate in a children's tour (free of charge).
The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is located in northern Zealand with a panoramic view across the Øresund. Louisiana is a beautiful spot and is definately worth the visit out of Copenhagen. In extension of the Museum you will find the beautiful garden and a nice small beach. Louisiana offers a range of activities for children and adults to explore together in The Children’s Wing.
The Copenhagen Zoo is one of the most beautiful zoos I have ever seen. The whole family will enjoy it for sure! In the Children’s Zoo you may ride a pony, visit the African Pygmy goats or get close to snakes, rabbits and other animals in the Zoo Stage. The Rabbit Playground is open all year. Every day at 3.20 p.m. you can watch the cow being milked. And a new aviary for flamingos opened recently.
The Children's Museum at the National Museum in Copenhagen has some very interesting exhibitions and they are all free, som no excuse for a little visit. Here you can discover and explore how they ate, worked, played and dressed in the old days and the children can even make their own exhibitions. Definately a fantastic children's Museum !
The Farmhouse at the Remisepark is always a big hit - especially for the youngest. It is a nice combination of a Farmhouse and a staffed playground where you will find swings, baby swings, a slide, a playhouse, bicycles and farm animals to pet!
The garden Classens Have is a small and almost secret public garden. This very nice little garden houses a couple of playing fields and a small playground where you wil find a swingset, a playhouse, a slide and benches for the parents.
The staffed playground at Ørstedsparken is a green oasis in the heart of Copenhagen. A part of the playground is designed as an interactive playground, which has taken computer games from indoors to outdoors. In the Ørsted Park it is all about getting the tools to react with light and sounds just like proper computer games.
Small playground for toddlers next to Nikolaj Kirke, for when your littleones needs to strech their legs. Here you will find a climbing tower, a slide, swings both a baby swing and a regular one.
The Frederiksberg Garden is a romantisk park with the Frederiksberg Castle in the middle. Here you will find beautiful lakes, rowboats, artificial waterfalls, the Chinese Summerhouse, the Apis Temple, a playground, ducks and swans. In adition you will find the new Elephant viewpoint where you can say hello to the elephants from the adjacent Copenhagen Zoo. Definately a beautiful spot and worth a visit !
