The Copenhagen Zoo is one of the most beautiful zoos I have ever seen. The whole family will enjoy it for sure! In the Children’s Zoo you may ride a pony, visit the African Pygmy goats or get close to snakes, rabbits and other animals in the Zoo Stage. The Rabbit Playground is open all year. Every day at 3.20 p.m. you can watch the cow being milked. And a new aviary for flamingos opened recently.
The Farmhouse at the Remisepark is always a big hit - especially for the youngest. It is a nice combination of a Farmhouse and a staffed playground where you will find swings, baby swings, a slide, a playhouse, bicycles and farm animals to pet!
The garden Classens Have is a small and almost secret public garden. This very nice little garden houses a couple of playing fields and a small playground where you wil find a swingset, a playhouse, a slide and benches for the parents.
The staffed playground at Ørstedsparken is a green oasis in the heart of Copenhagen. A part of the playground is designed as an interactive playground, which has taken computer games from indoors to outdoors. In the Ørsted Park it is all about getting the tools to react with light and sounds just like proper computer games.
Small playground for toddlers next to Nikolaj Kirke, for when your littleones needs to strech their legs. Here you will find a climbing tower, a slide, swings both a baby swing and a regular one.
The Frederiksberg Garden is a romantisk park with the Frederiksberg Castle in the middle. Here you will find beautiful lakes, rowboats, artificial waterfalls, the Chinese Summerhouse, the Apis Temple, a playground, ducks and swans. In adition you will find the new Elephant viewpoint where you can say hello to the elephants from the adjacent Copenhagen Zoo. Definately a beautiful spot and worth a visit !
Staffed and recently renovated playground where you will find playing fields, a paddling pool, a climbing frame and swings. During the week, the playground is supervised by two adults.
Blegdamsremisen is a unique spot in town, the best indoor playground - and entrance is free. Here, you find a 1.000 m2 play land with all kinds of activities and for all ages.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, you will find play dates for babies up to 3 years old from 8.30-12.15.
The garden is Copengagen’s oldest and most visited park. The parc has open areas where you can play, have a picnic or just relax in the shadow of one of the large trees. In the parc you will find toilets, changing facilities, a playground, a fountain and a couple of cafés/restaurants.
In the parc you will also find the Marionetteatret (Puppet theater), Kronprinsessegade 21, www.marionetteatret.dk, Tel: 35 42 64 72. During June, July & August, kids can enjoy a show (plays daily, except monday, a 14.00 and 15.00)
If you need a fun, yet educational break, Trafiklegepladsen is a good place to start. Here kids can learn how to behave in traffic without getting hurt. The playground has a traffic lane with signs, driving lanes, signals, road markings and cycle lanes just like in real traffic, only without fast moving people and cars all around you.
