Bastionen og Løven, is a delightful restaurant and café, situated in an old little Windmill on the ramparts of Christianshavn. You have a fantastic garden where you can enjoy a great brunch on weekends. Bastionen og Løven is set well off the tourist trail but if you would like to try some great Nordic inspired cuisine in beautiful surroundings, this is the place to go!
Very cute and stylish café and the perfect spot in the center of Copenhagen for a light lunch or a delicious coffee and cake. It's situated behind the famous Royal Copenhagen, and everything is of course served in the beautiful Royal Copenhagen dishes. The place is well-visited so book a table in advance or come early. Try their famous Smushis, a mix of traditional Danish smørrebrød and sushi bites. You will also find a little court-yard during summer perfect for kids to run around.
The Copenhagen Zoo is one of the most beautiful zoos I have ever seen. The whole family will enjoy it for sure! In the Children’s Zoo you may ride a pony, visit the African Pygmy goats or get close to snakes, rabbits and other animals in the Zoo Stage. The Rabbit Playground is open all year. Every day at 3.20 p.m. you can watch the cow being milked. And a new aviary for flamingos opened recently.
This little green spot at Vesterbro is a favorite place for many local families. Here you will find both flower beds, tables & benches, a paddling pool and a playground. The playground offers something for every age but has a really good section for younger children like a baby swing, trampolin, slides and climbing frames.
This café at Østerbro, is very childfriendly since the café is divided into two sections: one with bar counters and international magazines and the other one with low tables, backgammon and toys! Definately worth a visit!
Children and adults who visit Copenhagen must explore the world famous amusement parc Tivoli ! Though expensive, it’s definetly worth it ! You will find endless and various activities both for kids & grown ups.
The Tower playground situated in the big park Fælledparken give the kids the possibilty to climb up in every significant tower of Copenhagen: Our Saviour's Church, The tower of the city hall, Round Tower etc. This way, your kids can play in the tower that they might have visited or will visit during their stay in Cph. They can climb, play in the sand pit, swing and play ball. The Playground is supervised during the week between 9.00 and 15.30. It's situated in the corner of Fælledparken towards Frederik V’s Vej and Blegdamsvej.

BioM is a brand new modern organic gourmet restaurant. Don't let the word "gourmet" scare you though; the atmosphere is very relaxed and down to earth and the food is great !
