Very cute and stylish café and the perfect spot in the center of Copenhagen for a light lunch or a delicious coffee and cake. It's situated behind the famous Royal Copenhagen, and everything is of course served in the beautiful Royal Copenhagen dishes. The place is well-visited so book a table in advance or come early. Try their famous Smushis, a mix of traditional Danish smørrebrød and sushi bites. You will also find a little court-yard during summer perfect for kids to run around.
This café at Østerbro, is very childfriendly since the café is divided into two sections: one with bar counters and international magazines and the other one with low tables, backgammon and toys! Definately worth a visit!
This sushi chain is very popular and has several restaurants all over the city. This one is not the most obvious of them all, childrenwise, since it is not that spacious. But the sushi is delicious and they have childrens menus (and chopsticks) for those who don't like it raw.
The Winter Garden in the center of the Glyptotek Museum (museum of ancient and modern art) is the setting for the Café Glyptoteket. With it's palm trees and goldfish, this truly is a magic place for the kids to visit.
Charlottehaven is a fine combination of serviced hotel apartments, fitness- and wellness center, conference center and a café. The food is nice & healthy and especially their weekend brunch is popular. The café it self is bright and very spacious and during the summer there is out door serving at a nice little patio where you will also find a small playground. The only minus is that breastfeeding have to take place in the basement next to the restrooms.
Situated by the "lakes", this café makes it for the perfect stop for lunch or a coffe break. During summer, the café has a wonderful terrasse on the lake where children can feed the ducks. But always keep an eye on the kids so that they don't fall into the water.
Typical French bistro suitable for families. The food is fresh, healthy and at reasonable prices and the atmosphere is relaxed, cozy and informal. Kids have high chairs, drawing sets, children’s menus and an entire play room with cartoon movies and lots of toys, something for all ages.
Finally, a really good and children friendly café on Frederiksberg. Laundromat has 3 cafés in Copenhagen. The concept is nice and fun combining a laundromat and a café. Here, you will find a nice little area with lots of toys for the youngest guests. Breastfeeding is no problem. This place is opening early in the morning and is open to late in the evening as well.
If you feel like enjoying a nice italian meal where you easy can bring the children, La Rocca is the place to go. Children are more than welcome at La Rocca, they even have a room dedicated to the little ones, decorated with childrens furnirtue, toys, tv and dvd.
