A beautiful shop with so many treasures. You have to come again and again. There's something for everyone. I like the little selfmade things Sonja Tschiche creates. Of course all homemade and limited.
Cafe Kreuzzwerg is a brilliant kinder cafe close to Mehringdamm U bahn station and a popular meet up place for expat mums. The cafe is spread over a number of rooms offering different play experiences from a big wooden ship and play kitchen in the main room behind the front cafe section to a ball room and a playroom with tubes and slides. It is a clean and chilled out place and there is no charge for children to play plus the waffles are great! On sunny days there is also a small playground in the centre of the square outside.
Yoli frozen yoghurt shops in Berlin (there are three at the moment) are the first froyo outlets in the city. Their froyo is delicious and you can chose from loads of different toppings to customise your sundae. The decor is also really cool. My son enjoyed the milkshake with three fruit toppings whizzed into the yoghurt. It is well worth a pitstop on a hot day. They also have really funky elephant shaped seats for children. This place is relatively new on the kindercafe scene and has been open since the beginning of 2012. It is huge inside with one room for younger children and quieter activities such as trains, duplo, books and dressing up. In the middle of the room is a ball pond with a slide. The first room has the counter and leads into a cloakroom where you are requested to removed your outdoor shoes before venturing into the play rooms. The back room, beyond the cloakroom, houses a magnificent climbing structure for older children.
This is a little pocket of the most perfect part of France. Lovely Frenchmen, passionate about cheese and bread; an amazing selection of cheese and hams and the icing on the cake, the best baguette I have eaten outside of France. They have a small outside seating area but the inside is lovely and cosy in colder days. An added bonus, despite the small nature of the toilet, is a large fold against the wall changing table. Great place to introduce your kids to cheese.

Familycafé with brunch on weekends (8,90 € for adults). There's an indoor play area and classes with baby massage. They have daily specials, the day we stopped by we had a piece of quiche with salade. They have very nice and clean changing facilities and many high chairs so there will be no fighting for them!

The best about Pomeranza is the little café in one end of the shop, where you can have a little rest and a cup of coffee or a cold drink. They also sell a few cakes and cookies.
