There is a fantastic new outdoor exhibition, charting the history of Checkpoint Charlie, just close to the photo op Checkpoint on Friedrichstrasse. It is enclosed by wooden walls with photos on the outside and a great timeline style exhibit inside with 175 huge photos. A safe place for children, big pictures that interested my son and the written information was succinct enough for me to absorb whilst looking after him. There is a small kiosk selling cold drinks, snacks, postcards and souvenirs.
