Getting around in Berlin with babies and toddlers

Berlin is a huge city but you can easily get around by public transportation, even with a pram. Berlin’s excellent public transport system comprises: U-Bahn (subway), S-Bahn (city rail), buses and trams. All tickets can be used on any part of the system. Cycling is another great way to tour Berlin. Berlin has no steep hills and offers many bicycle paths (Radwege) throughout the city. Bicycles are a very popular method of transportation among Berlin residents. From the airport to can easily take the train, it's fast and fairly cheap but you can also prebook a taxi with a child seat. See the taxi section for more info.
