The unique and famous Gaudi park that overlooks Barcelona is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was originally conceived as a city garden for Barcelona's affluent people away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. Kids will be fascinated by the forms and colors of the architecture and the splended view all over the city and you will find several playground in the park.
Take the bus 24 or 92 to go up there, if you have a stroller, the escalators can not be trusted, trust me I have tried it!
