Parc Güell>>

The unique and famous Gaudi park that overlooks Barcelona is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was originally conceived as a city garden for Barcelona's affluent people away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. Kids will be fascinated by the forms and colors of the architecture and the splended view all over the city and you will find several playground in the park.

Parc Montjuïc>>

The mountain of Montjuïc is made of many green areas and is a great place to go to for great views over the city. You will find several small playgrounds in the park. There are gondolas, the Magic Fountains, Museums, the Castle of Montjuïc and the Olympic stadium.

Museu de la Xocolata>>

The chocolate museum tells the history of chocolate and has lots of interesting chocolate sculpture to look at. Kids of chocolate eating age will find it interesting. and they'll certainly enjoy the cafe and chocolate shop. The best part, is the kids chocolate making classes on weekends (available for kids age 3 and up). Classes must be booked well in advance on the museum's website.

FC Barcelona Museum and Camp Nou Tour>>

The impressive Camp Nou Stadium can be visited, home to the legendary FC Barcelona football club. The stadium can hold over 98,000 spectators. The tour takes you to every part of the stadium, the president's box, the changing rooms and an adrenalin charged walk through the player's tunnel onto the pitch.

Ciutudella Park Playgrounds>>

Very popular playground in Barcelona´s most centrally located park. At the top end of the lake, twice daily your toddlers can enjoy free toys and games in addition to the permanent swings and slides.
There are 2 other play areas in the park for slightly older children and there is also a boating lake. Two cafés nearby, one with a changing table. The Barcelona Zoo is at the other end of the Park.

Parc de Joan Miro>>

Lots of play areas for kids including a separate are for under 5. You can also take a look around the Biblioteca de Joan Miro library with its good children's section located in the park and take a break at the drinks and sandwich kiosk open daily. The park also has a separate area for dogs, a large rope climbing frame, flying fox zip wire and roller skating area. There is a grassy area on one side between the park and the road.

Jardins de La Maternitat>>

Peaceful garden in the grounds of the Hospital de la Maternitat. Despite the "keep of the grass" signs there are invariably sunbathers, readers or children playing on the gardens' well-kept grassy areas. There is a choice of 2 children's playgrounds - one in a dip in the centre of the park for younger children and another higher up at the back of the gardens with a wooden train and climbing for older children.

Castle of Montjuïc>>

Built in the 17th Century, this castle has magnificent views. Kids will have fun playing around and climbing on the old cannons. You will find a snack shop and an indoor restaurant. Just down from the castle's drawbridge entrance you will find a small playground with slides, so cultural history can be mixed with fun and play!
