Visiting Barcelona with kids

Barcelona is the perfect mixture of city and beach holiday and therefore ideal for families. The city of Gaudi with its beautiful architecture, lovely tapas and restaurants and many interesting sights will impress parents and children. The Catalonian capital is also full of good family accomodation like design hotels and city and beach apartments and not to forget a great public transport system. Even most taxis have child seat installed, which is very rare and special. Bare in mind, that eating hours are different than most countries, which means that most restaurant and cafés open later. Lunch will be served at the earliest at 13.00 and dinner at 20.00.
