The fantastic and one of our favorite concept stores in Paris Merci is opening a shop in Milan just for the periode of the Milan Fair from the 17th to the 22nd of April. So if you're in Milan go check this one out!

Mimi's Circus is an all time favorite of ours! Mimi's Circus is an online concept store with a beautiful and inspirational universe that carries unique and exclusive products for children - and their parents! Here, you will find an original selection of toys, furniture and room decoration items focusing on great design. All of the products have been carefully selected by the two Danish sisters Mette & Lotte Jensen who urge to bring you and I the finest quality products from international designers. Some of the items are handmade and some are, in Denmark, not to be found in every shop and webshop either.
Some of our favorite items in the shop are the beautiful embroided cushions by the über cool Danish Brand Soft Gallery. Soft Gallery is founded by designer Tine Holt Møller and fashion photographer and designer Barbara Hvidt. The idea behind the brand was to create unique clothes for children in cooperation with both Danish and international artists. Besides the clothes Soft Gallery also makes this beautiful Home Collection of Bed Linen and Cushions with beautiful details such as brodery, prints etc....If you don't know this webshop already, you should hurry up and pay a visit.
Last weekend I went to BOLIG i FORUM 2012, which is the biggest housing fair this year in Denmark. I wanted to check out the latest trends when it comes to furnitures, but the main reason why I went there was to check out the "kids trendzone" created by a Danish company called Roomdesign4kids. Here you could not only find lots of inspiration for your kid's room, you actually also had the chance to win one of the three fully furrnished and decorated rooms for your kids styled by the interior designers behind Roomdesign4kids. Only thing you had to do to sign up for the competion was to decorate a postcard and write which of the three rooms you preferred. What an amazing competion!!
The three kid's room were called "New and neutral", "Wild berry" and "Classic Blue" referring to a unisex kid's room, a girl's room and a boys room. Personally I totally feel in love with the "New and neutral" room and I think I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. All products were sponsored by Scandinavian companies. Last year my company was proud to be one of the sponsors.

Each year, Californian based Mini & Maximus work with different artists to produce original ideas for the brand. I love the idea and I absolutely love these images...I went a bit overboard, uploading so many images, I know - I just couldn't choose.
I recently came across Ada Ada the beautiful Israeli label and I must say that Ada Ada has become our new best friend! Ada Ada design clothes and accessories for babies and children from the ages of new born up to six years old. They create unique and high quality clothes, while maintaining comfort - just what you need for your children. Their collections are beautiful as well as practical and I love the subtle details and the earthy colours. The fabrics are very surprising such as the "suede like" knits and you will find bold contrast prints and groovy new designs. Ada Ada uses only natural fibers and eco-friendly dyes, and all the garments are made in a factory following the fair trade principles. Ada Ada can be bought (amongst others) at www.shak-shuka.com, www.sweetwilliamltd.com, www.charliesbucket.com.au & www.Line+Liv.com . Take a look at the absolutely gorgeous photos:
