Lulu Cradle by Nanna Ditzel
This beautiful Cradle named Lulu by Nanna Ditzel (1923-2005) is beeing relaunched and I just love it. How beautiful is Lulu? Nanna Ditzel was one of Denmark’s most prominent and innovative female designers and she has received countless Danish and international furniture and design awards. The quality is excusite as always and with a furniture like this you are sure to pass it on to the next generation - and the next, and the next. Apparently the cradle has belonged to both Nanna Ditzel's own children and grandchildren - I very much like this idea. The cradle can not be purchased yet, but take a look here or here for more info.
XO - in my Room, Children's Furniture
xo-in my room is a fantastic children's furniture brand from Barcelona, a venture of three brothers. The brothers have come together after working on their own for some time and with the experience of raising up ten children in total, they know what is functional design. XO-in my room resumes their passion for well designed furniture, made of quality materials and creative finishings. Handmade with love and care. The pieces are not just furniture, they are almost small pieces of art if you ask me, I luv' the combination of esthetics and functionality. You can follow their blog with many beautiful images and find their furniture in the webshop. I'm in love with the Star lamp, it's, so beautiful and cool at the same time!
Minimalistic Korean Furniture by Kamkam
I love minimalistic design and is always looking for new and inspiring furniture. I recently came across Kamkam which is a Korean Design duo located in Seoul. Kamkam designs some very interesting furniture bringing aesthetics of Korean tradition into the everyday lives to bring the public’s attention to traditional beauty. This Children's Collection is calld "Projection" since the intention is to revive the aesthetics of tradition and take care of children, the users of the furniture, at the same time is associated with the design concept of this project, that is, ‘Protection’. The concept of protection in regard to furniture implies taking care of the users. That means that the children completely safe from injury of any kind and emotionally supported through play using the furniture.
Take a look at the pictures. To learn more about the collection and the thoughts behind the different furniture, take a look right here.

ABC stools and storage boxes in 1
I have fallen in love with these cute and fun small stools/ storage boxes shaped as letters. A fun way to storage books and other things while the kids can learn the alphabet or at least the letters in their own name. The stools are made by German Sascha Grewe and go by the label artcanbreakyourheart.de. I'm also crazy about their name and their slogan: Kitsch can make you ritsch but art can break your heart. The boxes come in many many different colors.
