Den Blå Planet, New Aquarium in Copenhagen
Today, northern Europe's largest aquarium Den Blå Planet opened in Copenhagen. So if you are not afraid of crowds, the Easter Break is just perfect for visiting the more than 20.000 species. The aquarium is very impressive with its modern architecture and located by the sea on Amager. "The Blue Planet" as it is called is the home of fish and ocean animals from all over the world coming from warm and cold, fresh- and saltwater. The entire family will enjoy walking around with water all around you and you can say hello to hungry hammerheads if you dare. Bring you own lunch and enjoy it outside if the weather allows it or try the nordic cuisine from the famous Danish chef Claus Meyer at the café Øst. They have both children's menus, 5 high chairs and an excellent sea view. You can bring your stroller and diaper changing on the ground floor.
