Who cares for fashion? Fashion & design fair trade in Warsaw
One of the best thing about travelling is.......shopping! And I don't mean the shopping in chain stores spreading worldwide but looking for and buying local products and brands. Nothing quite beats the excitement of coming home with a unique, unusual and one of a kind dress, toys, shoes or bags.
Warsaw still isn't one of the world's premier shopping destinations. It's not like Paris or Milan (yet!) and it has a long way to go before it's regarded in a such way. But Warsaw has an incredible fast developing independent fashion & design market which is represented by young and creative designers. The best way to find them is visiting one of the many fair trades which are organized in capital of Poland. They are an attractive place for shoppers of all budgets - with variety of brands, products and competitive prices.
Last Sunday HUSH Warsaw fashion & design fair trade took place at the National Stadium. HUSH is a one day pop up sale promoting polish and foreign niche brands through the idea of slow fashion. It was next edition of its event which is organized twice a year (in June and November). The independent Polish fashion market was represented by more than 160 designers and brands which show great clothing, shoes, accessories, bags, toys and books for women, men and kids.
The children's shopping area was varied and interesting. There were amazing and creative toys from alelale, zuzu toys, karamba, laloushka, gaganis and pudło nie nudno; beatiful accessories from fifi&jeje and kollale; stylish dresses from grain de chic and lelui; lovely tutus from kids on the moon; comfortable clothing from flawless, pola&frank, nosweet; kids room's accessories from lamps&co and fluffy colours; tipis from pacz; colorful clothing from dream nation and miszkomaszko, and many many more.

Popupshop Sale

It is the time of the year where you have endless of private sales and you can't go to all of them. But this one is very interesting if you are looking for brands that are not mainstream. One of my favorite basic item brands for the kids is Popupshop and they have teamed up with something as cool as Fat Moose, making really cool men's outdoor, sport meets style clothes. So for the first time, I might actually be able to drag my husband with me ;)

Do you know Shampoodle?
